National Authorities

The Project National Authorities in Museums and Galeries – Interoperability with National Library od the Czech Republic was solved in years 2007 – 2011 within frames of the research programme of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic named „Making Cultural, Fine Art and Scientific Resources Accessible and their Protection“ and the subprogramme „Integrated Interactive Making Cultural Heritage Accessible“.

The aim of the project was to create a functioning model of cooperation in creating and using the base of national authorities. It means especially to create and futher maintain the server capacity for in museums and galeries used national authorities administration and to enforce using national authorities in museums and galeries instead of local variants of dictionaries or thesauruses.

After the project termination MZM – CITeM guarantee sustainability of its results during 5 year period, e.g. till 2016.
